Healing Prayer anything to it????

Dec. 7, 2015

I posted just the title on June 15, 2015 to see if someone would say I do not see anything written. Well it did not happen but I do believe that prayer can heal and it can be just one or several who keeps it from happening.

Dec. 9, 2015

The first thing a person must learn about healing prayer is Be Positive that God can and will if it is His will. We as believers must believe that God is God, and faith the Bible says that if one would have the faith of a mustard seed that person could move mountains.

January 17, 2016

Much of the information I will be sharing come from a book titled "The Power of Healing Prayer. I was able to meet the author and attend a workshop where is was one of two speakers.

Feb. 10, 2016

It is important to reach out in the name of Jesus to heal everything, that hinder the fullness of life or destroy beauty and human wholeness. Healing ministry will always be an essential part of the Christian life and work.

August 9, 2016

Mark 11:25 "When you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive as you Father in heaven forgives, and He in turn will forgive you all your sins." Throughout the Gospels we find a consistent correlation between prayer and forgiveness. The heart must be clear of resentments and anger if it is to be in union with the Father of mercy and love. Healing prayer whether for physical healing or inner wound is interwoven with all the Gospel teachings on forgiveness.  Healing prayer will not be blocked by negative attitude or bitterness.

October 11, 2016

Anyone who prays for healing on any level or to any degree must act with serious intention and responsibility. Those who become involved in healing fame, excitement or even money may have a success for a time but such motivation does not produce long-lasting affects.

November 30, 2016

I'm going to share just one proof of healing found in the Bible Matthew 8:14-15 of the healing power of Jesus. When he entered Peter's house, he saw that Peter's mother was sick. He touched her and healed her sickness. She then got up from her sick bed healed and ministered to Jesus.

He hears the prayers of His children and has the power to do things doctors cannot explain. So the question is, who are you going to trust to get you through difficult times? Are you going to depend on your own strength? Or will you call out to the living God and creator to heal and protect his beloved creation?

December 11, 2016

A minister of healing constantly confronts the deep mystery of suffering. It is important to think of it in light of the insights afforded by the Gospel. Faith brings an unique perspective
Most importantly, God does not directly will suffering. The Gospel tells us He is a loving Father whose will is life and happiness, not misery and death. Jesus certainly demonstrated in His teachings and ministry that He did not will the suffering of anyone, whether it was of a physical, spiritual, or emotional nature. He healed sickness wherever He found it, affirming health and wholeness. This conviction underlies the entire healing ministry.

January 28, 2017

The Bible tells us in Matthew 8: 5-15 of the healing power of Jesus.  A centurion came and asked Jesus to heal one of his servants. Jesus agreed and said lets go. The centurion showed his faith in Jesus by tell Him I know you can heal my servant from here by just saying so.When He entered Peter's house, He saw that Peter's mother was sick. He touched her and healed her sickness. She then got up from her sick bed healed and ministered to Jesus.
One was healed by Jesus touch but the other was healed by the faith in a boss/friend/servant. The centurion came in faith just as today we must go to Him in FAITH through continues PRAYER.

May 18, 2017

The prayer of faith is a prayer filled with trust, hope, and confidence. It is more than a vague hope that someone in heaven might hear the prayer Rather it expresses a real and active faith in the loving presence of Jesus to His people. It is a faith that is based on the promises of Scripture. Words do not bring healing; Jesus brings healing in the power of the Spirit in response to a prayer from the heart of a faithful person..

November 30, 2017

Our God is still in the business of saving souls and healing the sick and injured. Despite what famous movie stars and world renowned speakers and writers may say. He is alive.
He hears the prayers of His children and has the power to do things doctors cannot explain. So the question, who are you going to trust to get you through difficult times?

Are you going to depend on your own strength? Or will you call out to the living God and creator to heal and protect His beloved creation?

January 29, 2018

Ol ye of little faith! What powerful words they are, but Jesus help everyone one and it was not necessary done through prayer. If only He were here in physical form maybe we would be able to experience some of these mircles like those found in Mark chapter 5. Just think of seeing a person who had no control over his actions or mind. Jesus walks up and say unclean spirits come out and the man is healed. Or of Jairus who worked in the synagogue who asked Jesus to come and heal his only child (his daughter). Jesus and his followers went to the home of Jairus, He prayed and said little girl wake up and she arose. Or the woman who had so much faith that all she wanted was to touch his tazzles on His garment. Jesus felt the power taken from Him turn and asked who touched me the woman spoke up and said I did. And Jesus said go your faith as made you well.

Can we see and talk with the Father, Son & Holy Spirit

November 26, 2011

I'm reading a fiction paperback that is titled " The Shack" and here the main character is one on one with the Trinity. What would I do if I had the chance to spend a weekend having a one on one with God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit. Would we change the way we think or act? I think we would continue to be ourselves with no immediate changes, some of those who met Jesus when he was on earth didn't make a single change in their life and why would we 2000 years later be any different.

January 1, 2012

I read just finished a true story that is titled " Angel in the rubble" about a young lady who was trapped under all the concrete, wires, pipes and twisted steel. She opened her heart to God and in this mess came a person (angel) named Paul who held her hand and talked to her until she was found.

January 7, 2012

Two years ago for Christmas my daughter-n-law gave me book titled "Left to Tell" It tell how a person who is experience horrifying. In all of pain she is able to find God and He talks to her, and she as well talked to Mary mother of Jesus. She has been changed for life and now I'm reading her second book "Led by Faith". Do we get caught up in the world and forget that God is with us always and appears in many different forms.

January 28, 2012

think about Jesus's birth angels told the shepherds of the special occasion   . But the star that appeared to the wise men could it have been an angel that made an appearance has an angel.

March 7, 2012

Would it be interesting to think of ourselves in the form of a trinty; physical body, soul and spirit.

Sept. 7, 2012

It is interesting how God speaks to us though those around us. We ask for Jesus to come into our heart and then someone shows up to help and we close the door. We wait for the Holy Spirit to tell us right or wrong and sometimes we don't like the answer, then we find ourselves back on our knees asking for the Father or the Son to come to our aid.

August 24, 2013

Interesting how some say God tells them to do this or God tells them to do that. But when asked how do they know they usually don't have an answer. When God speaks it will be through the Holy Spirit and supported through the Holy Bible.

Dec. 7, 2015

On this day how many cried out Father help us? And how many hear the Holy Spirit tell them not to be afraid I'm here to comfort you in your time of need?  We never no that answer but God was at Pearl Harbor on that clear morning watching - listening and comforting.

January 9, 2017

Hitting theaters across the country the movie "The Shack" written by Wm Paul Young in March. One needs to remember that the story is fiction but it shows how we quench the Spirit.

August 22, 2017

Just a question; Why is it so hard for some to accept the trinty 3 in one? Father/Son/Holy Spirit

November 14,2017

A tallit is worn by Jewish men, it is placed on their head and either around there face or just infront of their face to cut out the distractions of the world when talking to God. On the four corners are tzitzit with a blue cord going through it about 12 inches long. For them they represent would be the Holy Spirit, it is a concent reminder there is one that is greater then them. And later Jesus appears to all, He wore a tallit and there are records of the sick touching His tzitzit and being healed a woman who had bleeding issues for 12 years touch the tzitzit and gotten healed. Maybe just maybe we are missing out on some of the blessing by not using a tallit and seeking to become closer to God the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The question that I've ALWAYS wondered is how can someone else say/know what God speaks to the original person? Ive seen too many "believers" say that "Oh you must be wrong, God would NEVER do that." That's never made sense to me.

Just a thought to ponder over, should we as Christians find fault in the non Christian, for instance, when a non Christian comes into our church and they say something that is not what we approve of, should we talk about them? Here is another question, what if the non Christian comes into our churches and here us gossiping, complaining, etc. do you think that they have a better right to speak up? Just a question!

Are we concerned about the amount of lost people that are in our community? The bible tells us that we should go and reach others through the spirit of God, He will provide us with the right words, and love for His people. This is what His plan for us is all about. God be with us, amen.

When we pray we really do commune with all three.
We pray to the Father in the name of the Son.
The Father tells the Son what to answer.
The Lord answers through or by way of the Spirit or Holy Ghost.
In like manner when we see Jesus in scripture we see the Father as he said he that has seen me has seen my Father and in thy light we shall see light.
The word says in Corinthians that the word is spiritually discerned. Jesus said the Spirit would glorify him.
Just some thought about seeing and communing with all three.

What I find interesting is that the word says that two or three witnesses shall establish every matter. Therefore if our body, soul and spirit are in agreement with the Spirit of God then it establishes our faith in Christ and salvation through His sacrifice.
I also find it interesting that the mark of the beast in the hand or forehead is 666 or the number of a man. Therefore if our body, soul and spirit are serving the creature rather than the creator and following the carnal mind which is enmity with God and dead these three could establish the mark of the beast in an unseen way far before the beast does arise and people are forced to take the mark to buy or sell.
Just some thoughts on it.
May God bless.

Does God speak to us today

November 21, 2011

Does God still speak to people today. And If so why don't they listen? With all the different religions and all the prayers that are in His name how does he know the true Christian from those who practice being religious.

January 6, 2012

How would we be able to tell when someone says God told them to do something that it is true? Or is that a person gets in a position and enjoys beating their own drum. Do we have to good and check to see if what they really say is biblical? I believe some do it in church to justify why do they do thing and just use God by name.

June 15, 2015

We find that God still uses His word in everyone's life dally. Have you found yourself unable to do something for lack of common since, but God give us the since of his power everyday through prayer and the strength to carry one pass what we would call common.

Dec. 7, 2015

God speak to me I want to hear you today!

Dec. 13, 2015

God does speak to people today. First, God speaks to us through His Word (2 Timothy 3:16–17). Isaiah 55:11 tells us, “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” The Bible is God’s Word, everything we need to know in order to be saved and live the Christian life. Second Peter 1:3 declares, “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by his own glory and goodness.”

January 17, 2016

God is still speaking to us today, to hear him all one has to do is list to godly people that in God's eyes are saint. How many saint are in your life that you have put on the back burner because you or either afraid or don't want to hear the truth.

September 3, 2016

Tonight I've worked on my Sunday school lesson for tomorrow as many teachers are also doing. Pastors are going over their sermons and yes God is looking down on us as well as looking at our heart. And He is listening, listening to hear if each one of use is worthy of being called His, and for Him to take the time to speak to us.

December 11, 2016

Interesting  last night I spoke to God about our Sunday school lesson Psalms 119:9-16. the problem I discovered this morning I didn't give Him time to response. What was missing no time to open with prayer asking for His help, are we humans that busy not to take time for the One who has all the answers.

January 5, 2017

I took on a challenge not going to call it a new years' resolution to read through the Bible completely again which I have not done in years. I have studied the Bible being a Sunday school teacher but this is different, and God has been speaking to me during my reading in morning and evening. Why? because now I've taken time to not only read but to listen so far there are many questions that I've found and need answers to. Where are the answers in His Word, Bible: Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.

August 4, 2017

Have you ever heard someone say I am in prayer all the time even when driving? Really how does one multi-task when God is involve? When we are in communications with our Lord He wants our undivided attention. Why didn't you hear God speak to you maybe because you weren't listening!  Stop what you are doing and take time to listen, He there and as always been there. Have you been there to hear what was being said?

November 7, 2017

Last Sunday delivered a message to the con congregation while our Pastor was out of town. The title was Tallit/prayer shawl seem that God was speaking during the weeks that I was working on the message. I should say it not surprising when you can feel God speak to you when you are in in His will.

February 17, 2018

We just had another high school shooting. question of more gun control and then the question where was God in all this. He was the with each one holding there hands speaking to them that it will all be over in a short while. Others He was making them heros that in a time like this communities need. Teachers who when they took the job to educate our childern didn't know they would make the ultimate sacrifice.

It wasn't and audible voice, but God was telling them protect my childern, They did no questions asked.
