Shoe Box Leader: WMU Each year the First Baptist of New Baden has collected a minimum of 25 shoe boxes and have filled them with items for children ranging in ages of 4 through 14. On Nov. 2007 the church collected a record 30 shoe boxes.
For 2009 it is time to save and fill a shoe box for a child. Each family should please fill a box or two for a child. Mark "boy" or "girl" and age of the child. Wrap the bottom of the box in Christmas paper and then wrap the top of the box separate .Do not seal the box.The church will see that the boxes are mailed to the missions.
This is a ministry that doesn't have to wait till the Holiday season comes around. Shoe boxes can be collected and filled year round.
